Sometimes You Just Need to Get it Out There

This is a NEW resource here at the Photo Experience! A place where I can drop quick posts about questions I've received, notes about what I'm thinking about as a photographer in the field, and a place where you can ask your own questions.

Join the Photo Experience!

Hey folks, during my busy guiding season, I fear I often leave The Photo Experience on autopilot, creating most of the content for the site during my quieter, winter months. This is mostly because creating the content for this site is time consuming. I can't just throw together a 50 page eBook, or lengthy video lesson. At least not one that I want to actually be worth reading, or viewing.

Yet, this is the time of year when I'm also out photographing the most, thinking about the things that drive me creatively, and seeing the obstacles that tangle up my workshop participants. Just about every day, I think to myself "Now, THIS would be a great subject for The Photo Experience!" If only, I had the time to put it together then and there... which I don't.

However, I DO have the time to drop in the regular short post to a blog - a topic I'm pondering, a question I've received, or just an image or moment that I want to share. So that's what this space is going to become.

For those of you who are members, if you have questions about your photography, a creative block you are facing, a question about your settings, or about post-processing, drop them in the comments, and I'll create a post to answer, as time allows.

For those of you who are not yet members, please consider becoming a part of the group. The more members I have, the more time I can dedicate to creating the content you want. Many posts on this page will remain free to all, but NOT all. In depth posts will be at least partially hidden behind the membership paywall. That's a perk for those of you who contribute, and a teaser for those of you who have not yet joined.

So comment away, and let me know what's on your photographic mind!
